• Our cribs are designed and engineered here in the USA to the highest safety standards. In addition to our own superior level of safety standards which meet or exceed those set by the Consumer Product Safety Commission and American Society for Testing and Materials, each crib undergoes rigorous testing by independent laboratories for compliance with all USA and Canadian crib regulations
• Assembly provided upon delivery if white glove service is chosen (recommended.)
• Wipe with a soft, dry cloth. Avoid direct sunlight and heat to protect the finish.
• Due to the deep sand-blasted nature of the spruce woodgrain, you may need to hit lightly with a fine sandpaper. Natural, solid wood grain varies with regard to depth and size. It can move with humidity. Do not be afraid to hit it with steel wool or fine sanding paper. Touch up paint is avail upon request.
• If this item is to be stored, store in a cool, dry place and carefully package all original hardware to protect from loss.

Babies from birth to age 12 months should be placed on their back when sleeping to avoid the potential risk of SIDS (Sudden Infant Death Syndrome) and suffocation. The crib mattress should be firm and should fit tightly so your baby cannot get trapped between the mattress and the crib. Use only a fitted bottom sheet that is specifically made for a standard size mattress and for crib use. Besides the fitted sheet and a waterproof mattress pad, nothing else should be placed in the crib with baby. This includes bumpers (we do not recommend using bumpers) pillows, stuffed animals or blankets. For proper air circulation around your baby’s face, do not place decorative pillows, quilts, comforters, sheepskins or stuffed animals in the crib while your baby is sleeping. Mattress height:  At birth, the mattress can be set at its highest position for ease of putting your baby in the crib. Once your baby is able to sit up, the mattress should be lowered from the highest position. Once your baby is able to pull up to a standing position, the mattress should be adjusted to the lowest level to minimize the risk of falling out of the crib. Do not place your baby’s crib next to a window or near window shades or curtain cords, near framed pictures or other heavy objects. Mobiles should be placed well out of arm’s reach of your baby. Once your baby is able to sit up, the mobile should be removed.
